Peel and Paper started the way most good ideas do, with a small frustration that wouldn't go away. We had found a wallpaper we loved. The design was perfect. The colours weren't. It came in the palette someone else had chosen, and there was no way to change it. We kept thinking the same thing: wouldn't it be better if you could pick your own colours?
So we made one. Our first design, printed in the colours we actually wanted, was enough to convince us that this was how wallpaper should work. Not a fixed set of options, but a design you love, made in the colours your room needs.
That is still what we do. Every pattern in our collection can be recoloured using our shade palette, up to 10,000 combinations per design, with a preview that updates as you choose so you can see it before you order. The pattern stays exactly as it was drawn; only the colours change.
Every design we sell starts on a desk in our studio. Nothing is bought in from a stock library. Our design team draws each pattern from scratch, and they spend a long time on the parts most people never notice: the weight of a line, the way a repeat joins at the edge, the small details that make a wallpaper feel finished once it's on the wall.
They also draw with colour in mind from the very first sketch. A pattern isn't done until we know it works in a soft neutral just as well as it does in something bold, because we know it will be recoloured thousands of different ways once it leaves us. That is a harder way to design, but it's the reason every combination in our palette looks like it was meant to be.
Nothing we sell sits on a shelf. Once you've chosen your design, your colours and your measurements, your wallpaper is printed for you in our studio, to your exact wall size. It means every order is exactly what was asked for and nothing is wasted.
Most of our wallpaper ends up in homes, on bedroom walls, in hallways, behind a bath. But the same designs, in the same colours, work just as well at a larger scale. We print for interior designers, offices, restaurants, hotels and shop fit-outs, and because every order is made to measure, a whole wall or a whole floor is no different to us than a single roll.

I loved the idea of being able to adjust the colours, it was so easy to order a sample, adjust again, order a new sample. On the 3rd attempt, I had every colour in the paper exactly as I wanted it. The quality of the paper is very good. I'm very happy.

it was terrific to be able to match the paper color of the very old Standard sink and toilet! the quality of the paper is fantastic, I went with the traditional paper, hired a professional hanger so IDK what glue was used but the end result is great. A nice spruce to a 100 yr old powder room.
This is absolutely the best wallpaper I have ever experienced. It's heavy duty but easy to handle and hang. Its comes with the atrips already cut, ao there is no fuss matching or loosing any lengths with cut offs! I wanted something "fun and bright and cheery" for my sewing/craft room and this is perfect!! Love the wallpaper!! I chose paste the wall wallpaper because my walls were very textured. The wallpaper quality was excellent. It was easy to work with the seams matched up perfectly. I would highly recommend this.
This was my first time installing any type of wallpaper, it is definitely a 2 person job as beginners. When I was working on it alone, it folded in on its self and the panel was ruined (it was fast and simple to order/purchase a replacement). The vinyl was easy to apply to the wall (despite using the wrong paint) and appears to be really good quality. With that said, it was impossible to perfectly line up the pattern since the vinyl panels have to overlap. The instructions that come with the product advise not to use 2-1 paint primer and to wait 6+ weeks after painting. Because that info wasn't on the website FAQs (and I triple checked) I didn't account for it in my reno timeline; used a 2-1 paint AND had put my bathroom reno on hold for 6 weeks.
